He was watching his little son who was playing in a turquoise-blue pool, holding an indigo yacht with red and white sails. The boy enjoyed grandfather’s observing glance and his kind blue eyes; but he wondered why he was not wearing a bathing suit?o

Ses pensés vagabondaient et soudain il se souvint de son grand-père, casquette, pantalon beige, chemise verte olive à manches courtes, debout sous un saule pleureur. Au loin une manche à air voletait devant un ciel monochrome.
His thoughts were wandering and suddenly he remembered his grandfather, with a cap, beige trousers, an olive green shirt with short sleeves standing under a weeping willow. In the distance a windsock fluttered in front of a monochrome sky.
Il avait quatre ans quand il accompagnait pour la première fois ses parents à la piscine municipale de Kehl. Depuis ces quatre décades peu avait changé. Le plongeoir dominait le terrain. Des arbres majestueux ombragèrent une grande partie de la pelouse verte.
He was four when he accompanied his parents for the first time to the local swimming pool of Kehl. Since four decades, few had changed. The diving platform dominated the ground. Majestic trees overshadowed much of the green lawn.

Im getting pretty into the Olympics and what goes in, comes out! I’m really interested in how beautifully conditioned these athletes bodies are and how they are instruments in their disciplines. It’s also a challenge for me as I don’t factor accuracy high in my drawing style.
